Last Friday, we celebrated our 'French Day' in school.Key Stage Two were all involved in a French workshop by the Freshwater Theatre Company. In the performance, a number of well known stories were retold IN FRENCH. We even learnt how to sing 'Who's afraid of the big bad wolf'.......... in french! Both Mr Barton and Mr Kelly proved to be very scary wolves.
At lunchtime on Friday, our hot dinners had a very french theme. Children who brought sandwiches put something french into their lunchboxes. The hall was also decorated with lots of french flags and famous images from France.
We will have our next themed lunch in school this Friday.
